I am privileged to spearhead the development of a board game to better articulate our Core Values. Together with my team mates working closely with our trusted partner, Grid Synergy (https://www.gridsynergy.sg/), we have materialized our first Global Charter board game prototype.

The purpose?

“To align employees to Global Charter by engaging them through an interesting medium to learning and internalizing the core values.

From the environmental scanning we have performed, we found that Gamification is on the rise for employees’ experience. It gave us the idea of gamifying our Global Charter experience with a board game! Subsequently, we talked to a few employees from different departments and received many “likes” for this idea.

Immediately after, we got together as a team and brainstormed how we should design the game; at the same time, researched any partners we can work with. With an agile approach, a board game project was initiated.

This is a simple board game that promotes communication among employees, and more importantly, looking from their viewpoints about our corporate values. It will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to play the game. This game could be a great ‘ice-breaker’ for any Core Value Articulation workshops or team building…
